New Jobs and Day Trips

This weather is killing me. Its hot and then its cold, its hot and then its cold, it never picks one of the other and its driving me crazy. I think Mother Nature needs to stop being so temperamental and pick a season. I'm ready for fall. I'm ready for the hoodies and pumpkin spice lattes, bonfires and s'mores. This up and down stuff is just too much on people.

And besides, I think I'm getting sick. I've been sneezing non-stop all day and my throat is swollen. Great... All I need is to get sick right before I start my new job on Friday morning!

I got the call while I was driving with my mom and my sister to the zoo today. I didn't expect to hear good things about me since I feel like I bombed the interview process, but I guess they liked me enough to want me on the team!

I am officially a professional portrait photographer! I start a new chapter in my life this Friday and I am beyond excited about it. It may be just a tiny job to start out, but hey, many of the world's greatest photographers started off as assistants to photographers and rose up higher than many. So, who knows, the path I'm walking now could lead me to greater things that I can imagine. God is the only one that knows and I trust in his plan for me.

Taking a trip to the zoo today was a very bad idea, it was hot and humid, I was sweating through my shirt, and my mom and my sister were complaining the whole time. Typical day at the zoo, but despite the whining and the heat, I took a few snapshots and some portraits of my sister when she was cooperating! Take a look-see!
